This Cancellation Policy explains how KJ’s Transportation LLC handles cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for roadside assistance services.
Our goal is to provide fair and reliable services to customers while maintaining efficient scheduling for our technicians and dispatchers.
This policy applies to all service requests made by phone and through our website.
Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellation timeframe:
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your towing or roadside assistance, please contact us as soon as possible.
- No-fee cancellation: You may cancel your request within 10 minutes of placing your call if a driver has not yet been dispatched.
- After Dispatch: Once driver has been assigned or is en route to your location, a service call fee may apply to cover travel and time costs.
This ensures fairness to both customers and our drivers who are actively responding to calls.
Cancellation fees:
- If cancellation occurs before dispatch, there is no fee.
- If a driver has already been dispatched but not yet arrived, a $25-$50 service fee may apply depending on distance traveled.
- If the driver has already arrived at the customer’s location, the full-service rate may be charged.
All fees will be communicated clearly at the time of cancellation.
Refund process:
For prepaid services (such as square invoice payments), any eligible refund will be processed through Square, our secure payment provider.
- Approved refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
- Cash payments will be refunded by company-issued check sent to provided address.
- Service fee for dispatched or completed calls are non-refundable.
Exceptions:
Cancellations due to unsafe conditions, vehicle accidents, or weather-related issues that prevent us from completing service will not incur a fee.
